The Bona Fide Beasley Mission Statement
While sitting in my home office recently, the Lord dropped two words into my spirit: "Mission Statement." I knew it was the Holy Spirit at work because, in the nearly three years since I launched The Bona Fide Beasley, I had never even thought of a mission statement. I immediately grabbed a pen and jotted down a few lines before looking at my website and reading the "Home" and "About Me" pages again. Pre-Mother's Day Book Event!
My first book event of 2025, held Saturday, May 10, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, in Pinole, CA (next to Peet's Coffee) was a huge success! I was there with an ample supply of books and sold quite a few to people who wanted to read it themselves, or give them as gifts. I signed every copy, personalizing them with each recipient's name and a unique note. Also, and for the first time ever, I had amazing swag to give away, a custom jumbo magnet clip complete with my logo! This swag was a freebie, but I will be expanding the swag offerings for purchase for future events.
The weather was beautiful, and the flow of people was steady, with it being the day before Mother's Day, and the positioning of my table. Rather than write more about it, I'll let you see for yourself!
