Since becoming a member of the Word of Faith Church, the Lord has blessed me in ways I could never have imagined! Spiritually, I am continually nourished by the word of God, delivered by Dr. Parham  (Pastor) and Dr. Deatta Parham (First Lady ), in a manner that is easy to understand, yet uncompromising. As we believe in the entirety of the Bible, scripture is delivered in a meaningful and relatable way, and congregants are encouraged to spend time in private Bible study and prayer, in addition to attending weekly services.

Aside from the powerful preaching of the Word, Praise and Worship is such that it fills your soul with a resounding sense of hope and encouragement that is impossible to deny. Songs chosen by God Himself and delivered by a committed and dedicated Praise and Worship Team, under the leadership and direction of First Lady Parham, minister to hearts and souls. Congregational participation is welcomed and encouraged, furthering the unity of the Body of Christ.

The Word of Faith Church congregation is and has always been extremely welcoming, something that helps make newcomers as well as long-time members bond together in unity. The congregation is very diverse, having members from around the world, and from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Jesus tells us throughout the Bible that we are to love one another as Christ has loved us. This is an absolute foundational teaching in the Word of Faith Church, and it is a direct factor in how comfortable newcomers are when they visit, and when they decide to join. This is also what helped me decide to become a member when I did, because the moment I walked through the doors for the first time in 2001, I was warmly welcomed by the door greeter, the congregation, and the Pastor and First Lady. That made a huge impression and a big difference.

In addition to my spirit being fed, the Lord has prospered me year over year! He has blessed me with a prestigious career, financial stability, a business, a master's degree (during the pandemic and while going through a serious illness, no less!), repeated healing in my body, deliverance from an abusive marriage, reliable transportation, powerful connections and friendships within local government, and a host of other blessings, none of which would have been possible had it not been for this Church and the ministries therein.

I grew up in church, but until coming to the Word of Faith Church, I never REALLY knew Christ and I had never served Him before. As a long-time member, my faith has been strengthened in ways that have not only helped to sustain me, but also as a strong support for others in need of prayer, hope, and encouragement.
